Knife Type: Santoku
The Santoku knife is known for its high frequency of use in the kitchen and is often referred to as an all-purpose knife, capable of handling most kitchen tasks without the worry of a pointed tip.

Crafted with precision by the renowned young Japanese bladesmith Satoshi Nakagawa, this Santoku knife is produced under the brand Hatsukokoro (初心).

Construction: Three-layered structure (sanmai), with a core steel of Silver 3 steel, offering a hardness of around 61 HRC, excellent edge retention, and good resistance to rust. It is a highly suitable knife for household use.
