The knife is a Honesuki knife produced by HATSUKOKORO in Tosa, Japan.
Specifications:
Blade structure: Three-layer steel construction with a soft iron outer layer and an Aogami (Blue Steel) core, hardness of 62±1.
Hand-forged Honesuki knife with half of the blade retaining the forging texture for rust resistance while the other half features a Damascus pattern achieved through black dyeing.

Blade edge: Double beveled, suitable for both left and right-handed use.
Handle: Ebony handle with a black buffalo horn bolster.
Notes:
The blade is thin and not suitable for cutting frozen meat or bones.
