This Gyuto knife is meticulously crafted by the renowned young Japanese bladesmith Satoshi Nakagawa of Hatsukokoro (初心) brand in Sakai City.
Specifications:
Construction: Three-layered structure
Blade Steel: Aogami (Blue Paper) No.1 steel with a hardness of around 63HRC, providing excellent cutting performance and edge retention. The blade features a beautiful Suminagashi pattern (Damascus pattern), with the spine and heel polished to a smooth finish for a comfortable grip.
Double bevel edge allows for ambidextrous use.
