This knife is a creation of Yoshikazu Ikeda, the President of the Sakai Knife Manufacturers Association and a traditional craftsman. It is made of Aogami #1 steel using the honyaki technique (clay-tempered blade), featuring a floating wave pattern, and finished with a brown rework process, making it a very rare product.
